A statewide Amber Alert has been issued by the Newark Police Department.

Be on the lookout for an abducted child. On June 18, 2017, at 5:00 PM, CHILD WAS BEING WATCHED BY SISTER, FATHER CAME TO RESIDENCE AND TOOK THE CHILD. FATHER LEFT IN A BLACK 2006 BLACK SATURN ION WITH RED RIMS WITH OHIO PLATE GUF5050. UNKNOWN WHERE SUSPECT IS TAKING THE CHILD.

The incident took place in Licking County, OH 196 NORTH 11TH in the city of NEWARK 43055. MOTHERS HOUSE.

The child’s name is KEIRIA MARIE TRENT and the individual is missing. The child is a White female, age 1, is 3ft tall, weighs 30, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. POSSIBLY WEARING EITHER A BLUE PRINCESS TUTU OR A STRAPLESS WITH AND PINK STRIP DRESS WITH FLOWERS. CHILD ALSO HAS BRUISE ON RIGHT CHEEK

The suspect’s name is MATTHEW R TRENT. The suspect is a White male, age 27, is 505 tall, weighs 140, and has brown hair and blue eyes. SUBJECT IS POSSIBLY ARMED AND DANGEROUS AND THREATENING SUICIDE

The vehicle involved is a black 2006 SATURN ION with plate number OHIO. RED RIMS. PICK IS NOT ACTUAL VEHICLE
