Sheriff’s Office Offers Free Kids Print ID Cards

The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free opportunity for parents and guardians to obtain ID cards that act as critical tools in the case of a missing child.

On Thursday, December 28th the sheriff’s office will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Justice Center, 2295 Reiser Avenue in New Philadelphia, to make and give out free Kids Print ID Cards.

Officials note the cards are designed to help law enforcement officers with critical information in the case of a missing child.

Deputies will ask parents and guardians a few questions, take a photo of the child and obtain the child’s fingerprint.

The information will all be printed on the ID cards that will be given to the parents or guardians.
