Recycling District Responds to Community’s Concerns

The Stark Tuscarawas Wayne Recycling District acts quickly following the public’s concerns about one of the agency’s sites.

“You raised some concerns and we acted the next day! Your feedback about our sites is important to us.” The message was posted to the agency’s Facebook page this week.

Officials explained in the post that due to the muddy conditions created by the weather, workers laid 32 tons of new gravel at the Taft Elementary site in Plain Township (Stark County).

“We value our partners in all of our Stark, Tuscarawas and Wayne Communities,” added officials. “Our cleanup crew was on to spread the gravel and make recycling a better experience for you and your family.”
