Partners with the PAC to Send Readers Out on the Town!

The Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas is once again partnering with to give our readers a night to remember!

All you have to do is comment on our contest Facebook post and tell us why you deserve a night out!

On Tuesday, March 13th we will join David Mitchell at the PAC to announce TWO winners!

Each winner will receive two tickets to see Rosie & the Riveters, a part of the PAC’s Come Hear series. It is designed to encourage people to get out and experience something they’ve never seen…or heard before!

This show makes a perfect girls-night-out or date night!

Rosie & the Riveters are fiercely talented and sassy dames from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who perform uplifting folk music with a vintage 1940s flair!

Ask these spirited femmes to spin a slinky melody, roll out glinting harmonies, or hammer down a swinging beat, and you can bet what the answer is going to be: “We can do it!”

Their original songs feature sophisticated harmonies, body percussion, scintillating dance moves, humor, and just enough ooh-la-la to keep your toes tapping long after the show is over.

Inspired by Rosie the Riveter, the feminist icon who symbolized the women’s movement into the workforce during WWII, the Riveters seek to empower women to be ambassadors for change within their own communities.

In support of this vision, they invest 20% of their merchandise profits in women’s project around the world through

The show is Tuesday, April 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center in New Philadelphia.

Tickets start at just $30!
