The Health Sciences program at Aultman College is inviting the public to Diaper Days Extreme.
Director of the program, Jeffrey Pellegrino, is working with partners across Aultman Health Foundation to maintain the ‘Diaper Days Extreme’ courses. According to reports, the classes offer information about critical health topics for pregnant mothers or those caring for children less than a year old.
Those who successfully complete all three courses would then qualify for a free box of diapers and a pack of wipes every month for one year.
The courses are funded by a Canton-Stark County THRIVE grant. They will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays at Family Empowerment Ministries, 1150 East State Street in Alliance.
The scheduled classes are as followed:
June 12th/July 10th: ‘The Dangers of Smoking and Secondhand Smoke
June 19th/July 17th: ‘Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Prevention’
June 26th/July 24th: Safe Sleep for Your Baby, Home Safety, and Infant CPR
