Law enforcement to use former school for training

(Lake Township, Ohio) – A local school district is announcing first responder training will take place at a former middle school.

The Lake Local School District is advising parents and community members that the former Lake Middle School building on Market Avenue will be provided to local law enforcement and first responders for valuable on-site preparedness training.

The training will take place Tuesday, January 15th through Friday, January 18th.

This building no longer houses Lake students or staff as a result of the recent reopening of our remodeled Lake Primary School.

You will see many emergency vehicles in the parking lot of the former middle school building during these several days.  Please do not be alarmed.

All training will safely take place within the building, and will not interfere with the daily operations of our school district.
