(Zoarville, Ohio) – Tuscarawas Valley Local School District is gearing up to host an informative presentation that focuses on youth substance use prevention.
Hidden In Plain Sight, an interactive presentation about illegal substances and trends facing pre-teens and teens will be offered by Tuscarawas Valley Local Schools on Tuesday, March 26 from 7-8pm. The presentation will be held in the Trojan Center of TV High School located at 2367 Tusky Valley Road NE in Zoarville.
The community is invited at no charge.
Jodi Salvo, a Tusky Valley parent and Executive Director of the Tuscarawas County Anti-Drug Coalition, will teach signs to look for and how to speak effectively with children on important topics like tobacco, vaping, marijuana, prescription drugs, and alcohol. Attendees will see firsthand how a typical bedroom can be used to hide illegal substances.
