(Zoar, Ohio) – Gardener, shop owner and television personality Heather Pariso (Garden Gurl) will be teaching two classes in Historic Zoar Village in April.
In the Succulent Pot-in-a-Pot Class on April 6, Heather will show participants who to achieve the pot-in-pot look. “You’ll wow your friends and have them wanting to swipe your succulents,” says Pariso. In the April 13 Spring Air Plant Wreath class, students will learn how to craft a modern air plant wreath for an indoor wall hanging or centerpiece that can then be moved to an outer door for summer.
Both classes will be held at 1:00 pm in the Zoar Sewing House. Cost is $35 per student and includes all plants, soil, containers, and tips on how to keep the plants thriving. Reservations for the Pot-in-a-Pot class must be made by March 28.
For the Air Plant Wreath class, please reserve by April 3. Call 330-874-3011 to reserve.

About Historic Zoar Village
Historic Zoar Village (www.historiczoarvillage.com) was founded by German Separatists in 1817 and thrived as a communal settlement for more than 80 years. Today, the village is home to approximately 75 families living in homes built from 1817 to present. Zoar’s historic district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and listed as a National Historic Landmark District. Dozens of village structures have been painstakingly preserved through the collaborative efforts of the Zoar Community Association and the Ohio History Connection.
Students can make a Succulent Pot-in-a-Pot or a Spring Air Plant Wreath, depending on the Garden Gurl class they choose at Historic Zoar Village.
