(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – The 2019 Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over national mobilization is August 14- September 2, 2019.
To “kick off” this mobilization Safe Communities of Tuscarawas County will be at Gateway to Fall Festival on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. Safe Communities will be providing education on the effects of impaired driving and the importance of making smart decisions when behind the wheel. A trooper from the Ohio State Highway Patrol as well as a Counselor from the TCHD Alcohol and Addiction Program will accompany Safe Communities to speak on the importance of driving sober. We will also have games and giveaways, stop by and check us out!
Safe Communities will also be at the Tuscarawas County Farmers Market on August 21st and 28th to provide education on the effects of impaired driving and the importance of making smart decision when behind the wheel. We will have games and giveaways, we look forward to seeing you there.
