Fall storytime sessions at Dover Public Library set to begin soon

(Dover, Ohio) – Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers can get a weekly literacy boost at Dover Public Library this fall.

Officials explain families can meet Ms Claire in the Children’s Department castle Wednesdays from 10:00 – 10:20 a.m., beginning September 4, for Baby & Me Storytime. Children aged birth-3 years are invited to this introductory session to learn about books and engage in fun rhymes and songs. This storytime will be followed by free play and socializing and no registration is necessary.

From 11:00 -11:45 a.m. on Wednesdays, also beginning September 4, Ms Claire will meet families in the Community Room for Rockin’ Robin Storytime, geared toward preschoolers (Ages 3 and up). This more energetic Storytime involves books, movement, songs, and rhymes to develop important pre-reading skills.
There will be a fun activity or craft following the program. Please register online for the weeks you plan to attend Rockin’ Robin Storytime at www.doverlibrary.org/register. Call 330-343-6123 for more information.
