Canton, OH – August 28, 2019 – COMPASS (Sexual Assault Education, Prevention & Support) along with Canton Palace Theatre and Canton Film will be hosting a free screening of the documentary Roll Red Roll.
The film is a true-crime documentary depicting the notorious Steubenville, Ohio rape case. The screening will take place on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the Canton Palace Theatre, 605 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44702. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. start time.
Directly following the film will be a live Q&A panel with Educator & Activist Joe Samalin, Executive Director of Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence Rosa Beltre, and COMPASS Prevention Educator Caleb Prange.
This film could be potentially triggering or sensitive. The topic of sexual assault will be discussed in a manner that could be upsetting to some audiences. A counselor will be available to talk during the event.
