Local library invites families to ‘Touch-a-Truck’ at annual outdoor event

(Dover, Ohio) – The street will be blocked off and vehicles will be lined up in front of Dover Public Library the second Saturday in September this year for the library’s annual Touch-a-Truck event.

All families are welcome to come to explore the inside of an ambulance, firetruck, a semi with sleeper cab (new this year), and more. Attendants will be with the vehicles to answer any questions.

“Our Friends of the Library will be at the event handing out free hot dogs and lemonade,” says Youth Services Manager Claire Kandle. “Be sure to thank a Friend when you stop by, they do so much to help make our library events a success!”

The Touch-a-Truck program will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14.

No registration is required; call (330)343-6123 or email ckandle@doverlibrary.org if you would like more information.
