(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – Excitement and anticipation is growing for Art on the Alley coming Sunday, October 20th. For the first time since its start in May 2018, Art on the Alley is completely full of vendors within its two-block festival footprint.
Guests can expect an array of new and returning artists, nonprofits, and food vendors. Local businesses like Alley Cats Marketplace, the Daily Grind, the Gift Market, To Your Health Nutrition and Loves Gallery will be open during the festivities.
Outdoor music and entertainment will be held at Art on the Alley’s North and South stages. Alley Cats Marketplace will have Christie Bloom demonstrating blacklight chalk art at 1:00 PM and 1:45 PM. Following the demonstration, Anna Granges will be playing the ukulele at 3:00 PM. Steam Centers will have their pop-up interactive play and sensory stations set up and will offer pumpkin painting and a barrel train for young children.
Also with Halloween around the corner, the newest addition to October’s Art on the Alley is guests are encouraged to come in costume or cosplay. For families, a trick-or-treating opportunity will be offered with vendors giving out candy at their locations (look for the pumpkin signage posted at their spaces!).
