(Canton, Ohio) – Families are invited to a one-of-a-kind Christmas show at the Canton Palace Theatre on Sunday afternoon, November 17, 2019.
The local organization, Newsymom LLC, is teaming up with the Canton Salvation Army to present the Canton Christmas Spectacular: Family Edition!
The event features a live radio stage play version of the beloved holiday classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life”. In addition, the performance includes stunning performances by the a cappella ensemble, Vox Audio and Malone University’s “Amplified”.
Following the stage performance, families with children are invited to stay for a free after-party, which includes an audience sing-along and photos with holiday favorite costumed characters. Characters include Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, “Frozen” characters, and of course, Santa Claus himself. Also making appearances will be “Sal”, the Salvation Army’s mascot, and “Pozzi” from the Canton Charge.
“We really wanted to give families an opportunity to experience high-end holiday entertainment together, but at a price, they could afford,” explained Newsymom Executive Director, Michaela Madison. “Thanks to the support of the Canton Salvation Army and other partners, we were able to make it happen.”
At just $10 per ticket, families can enjoy a holiday-themed event to get everyone in the holiday spirit without breaking the bank.
“It is the mission of The Salvation Army to help bring wonder into the lives of the hurting in this community. This partnership helps us do just that,” explained Major Tom Grace with the Canton Salvation Army.
It’s all happening Sunday, November 17th at 2:30 at the Canton Palace Theatre 605 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44702. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the event page at Newsymom.com.
