Ashland County program ready to serve local families

(Ashland, Ohio) – The Project Comfort Program is still open and available to those in need!

The program through Ashland County Job and Family Services began on November 2nd, 2020, and is active through February 26th, 2021.

There are several qualifications individuals must meet, however it does not require that you have paid employment.  Those interested must submit the application which can be obtained from our agency at the front desk or in the box out front of our agency.  The PDF link to download the application is also listed below.

Officials note the application must be completed and income for the last 30 days must be attached if applicable. Additionally, applicants must include a copy of their heating bill.  If they are responsible for the heating bill but it is not in their name, officials ask that they provide a written statement from the person whose name it is in that they are responsible to pay this bill.

The PRC programs go by the 200% FPL income guidelines per family size and must have minor children in the household.

The PDF application can be downloaded here. For more information, visit Ashland JFS online.
