Canton Ballet moves forward with “Peter and the Wolf” performance

(Canton, Ohio) – The show must go on!

A fall performance that has been tradition since 1978 is taking place this weekend with precautions in place due to COVID-19. The Canton Ballet is moving forward with three performances of “Peter and the Wolf” this weekend. The play, according to officials, is aimed at children and lasts roughly 35 minutes.

A change this year will be location. Rather than being held at the Palace Theatre in Downtown Canton, this year’s performance will be held outdoors nearby on the covered plaza near the main entrance of the Culturl Center for the Arts. There will be a limit of 100 audience members per performance and they will be required to bring their own seating. Masks will be required and each performance will include a different cast of dancers. The story guide for the performance can be found here.
