Crayons, coloring books, thingamajigs, tea sets, stuffed animals, books, movies, music, instruments…remote controls (without batteries), hair bows, boxes, pans, spatulas… it is shocking at times, what I have to do to keep my 1 ½ year old entertained!
Muscles that feel they could give out at any moment. Eyelids that weigh more than the small human you continuously have to cart around because she’s going through a ‘phase.’ A mind that wanders and can become lost in any split second due to pure exhaustion.
In your longest day, remember to look into your child’s eyes. Only then will you realize how short it really is.
The world my daughter is growing up in…scares the hell out of me.
Should I do it? Is it the right thing to do?….What if she doesn’t get enough from me? What if she’s still hungry? How will I know how much she’s getting? Will I be able to handle it? Will it hurt? What can I eat while I do it?…Will my boobs get saggy?

This time last year, I was about as big as you can get. Waddling around with a beach ball attached to the front of me. While I was suspect, I really had no idea just how much that beach ball would change my life.
I’m faced with the first real amount of time away from LO and I’m full of emotion.
I can’t wait to leave…
