(Canton, Ohio) – The Canton City School District is gearing up for its third annual event later this month.
The event will be held at the McKinley High School Downtown Campus on Saturday, September 29th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will begin with a parent academy in the auditorium.
Officials say following the celebration there will be food served from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will include authentic Hispanic appetizers, raffle prizes and a soccer game in the gym. There will also be informational booths, and interpreters will be on hand.
Additionally, the district’s English language team is expected to conduct a presentation on the district’s vision and mission, upcoming district events, English language support, restorative practice, and safety and security.
