Free TuscParks Summer Children’s Program: Interacting with Nature -Tuscarawas County
About this event
The Interacting with Nature programs invite families and friends to take part in nature exploration throughout the summer. Each program date will offer a different topic and we will be traveling to our different parks throughout the county. Please take note of the topics and places when registering.
Below please find the date and topics for our 2022 Summer Children’s Interacting with Nature programs. Keep track of the dates you would like to attend so you can register for each date separately. Registration number does not include number of adults attending only number of children.
July 26: Nature Exploration at the Canal Lands Park.
As you can see programs are at different location throughout our park system. I have included addresses or coordinates to these sites below.
Norma Johnson Center: We will meet at the kiosk on Conservation Drive, below the red barn, by the parking lot. 3976 OH-39 NW, Dover, OH 44622
Canal Lands Park: We will meet at the picnic shelter just off of the parking area. 8645 Dover Zoar Rd NE, Dover, OH 44622
Trenton Heritage Park: We will meet at the gate on State Dam Road. 40.420619, -81.385789 This park is closed to the public and can only be accessed during a special event or an educational use permit granted by the Tuscarawas County Commissioners.
There will be no charge for this event but donations will be accepted. All donations will go to TuscParks in support of maintaining and preserving the Norma Johnson Center.
