Join In As Downtown Ashland Goes Green for St. Patrick’s Day! Join Mayor, Matt Miller, as Ashland hosts a walking parade right down Main Street in Downtown Ashland. Get the deets right here on Newsymom!

Each year on March 17, the Ashland City Council turns Town Run, the creek running through Downtown Ashland, green! Mayor Matt Miller and city council members want to take it to the next level this year to show their holiday spirit.

St. Patrick’s Day Walking Parade

Join Mayor Miller around 4:30pm at Corner Park dressed in your finest St. Paddy’s Day garb! Starting at 5 pm, everyone will walk from Corner Park to Foundation Plaza to show off their St. Patrick’s Day spirit!

The parade will be led by a band and bagpipes to keep in tune with the theme. At the end of the walk, the crowd will vote on the person who has the most St. Patrick’s Day spirit. Come wearing your loudest green outfit to win the contest!

Main Street Joins In On The Holiday Fun

Main Street will be totally decked out in themed decor and area businesses will be showing their spirit as well! Restaurants and bars will have St. Patrick’s Day-themed food and drinks.

Even if you don’t come to be in the parade, you’ll still be able to enjoy the festivities Ashland has to offer for the holiday. It’s completely free and open to everyone! Bring the family, and make sure you’re wearing green. (Or you’ll get pinched!)
