The New Philadelphia Police Department is currently accepting applications for substitute crossing guards.
The department notes that the position will be on an as needed basis when a regular crossing guard cards off.
Officials note they are looking for dependable people to fill the position.
Applicants must be 18-years or older.
Applications can be picked up at at the Human Resources department in City Hall.
They can also be printed off the City of New Philadelphia website.
