Ages 6-12 Summer Camp at Weis Park. Activities will include Weekly Swimming, Weekly Field Trips, Nature Walks, Movies, Sports, Recreation, Reading Activities, Arts & Crafts and more.
- June 13 – August 5 Regular Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Before Care: Begins at 7:30 AM (Additional Cost)
After Care: Until 4:30 PM - Residents: $500 | Non-Residents: $600

Summer Camp at the Edward “Peel” Coleman Community Center. This camp is only open to Canton City residents. Activities will include Recreation, Sports, Arts & Crafts, Math, Reading, Weekly Swimming, Weekly Field Trips and more.

Who: Campers leaving grades 5th- 8th grade who live in the city of Canton
When: June 27 – July 1
Where: While campers will explore all over their community throughout camp, every day will start and end at Camp HQ in Downtown Canton. Exact location to come!
Provides exciting camps where children feel safe to explore their interests in technology, athletics, science, nature, and the arts in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Each camp is staffed by CCDS faculty members who are there to meet the needs of the children and promote their development.

Plain Local Schools is proud to offer a variety of engaging opportunities during the summer of 2022 for families in our community. Space is limited and spots will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Stark State Kids College Summer Camp
Kids’ College is a summer program offered by Stark State College’s education department. Our goal is to develop and expand students’ interests, stimulate creativity and provide unique learning opportunities on a college campus.
The program is held in the Business and Entrepreneurial Center on Stark State’s main campus.
Kids’ College offers courses ranging from abstract art to a world tour, with plenty of offerings in arts and crafts, science, sports, food, culture, finance and more in between.
Monday through Thursday
Week 1: June 6-9
Week 2: June 13-16
Week 3: June 20-23
Week 4: June 27-30

JR is offering two dates for summer camp this year!
Join us June 27th-29th and July 25th-27th from 9am-2pm.
Campers will ride each day, do groundwork with horses, play games, and participate in tons of fun barn activities. $325 per camper per week
Ninja Hub “Floor is LAVA” Camp
For ages 6 and up!
Our trained coaches will cover how to conquer specific NINJA warrior obstacles and also work on functional strength training. Students will rotate between lower body and upper body obstacles each week.
Make sure to wear gym shoes (no muddy or WET shoes, no boots, flip flops, sandals, or crocs)!
$40 per week

Registration for 2022 Summer Camp is Now Open! Ages 5-12. Campers must be 5 by July 1 and entering K next year to be eligible for registration.
Camp will be run at Green Intermediate/Middle School and Hoover Park.
Tons of Options from Ballet, tap, gardening, cooking, art, leadership, drums, dance, drill team, musical teater, vocal music, script writing, and strings classes!
Faith United Methodist Learning Center –Summer Day Camp
(Completed Grades K – 5)
- Children participate in a variety of fun activities including art, outdoor play, games and sports while making friends and staying active.
- Special theme days and weekly walking or bus trips included.

Canton Symphony Orchestra Camp Z
Join us June 6-10, 2022, for strings instruction with the Canton Symphony Orchestra. Led by Raylena Mae Bevington, students intermediate-advanced will learn fundamentals and more on their string instrument. Students will be coached by musicians from Canton Symphony and will present a concert for the public on the final day of the program.
U.S. BASEBALL ACADEMY – ALLIANCE
JUN. 27 – JUN. 30, 2022 The objective for our 2022 Summer Program is to give each player a championship experience over the four days of camp. Players will learn useful information teaching proper mechanics, techniques, and set up drills to use at home for personal skill development.

Whether your child has a specific need in learning social skills, or you feel your child would benefit from additional opportunities for social interaction and social learning experiences, please join our Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist in learning new skills such as turn-taking, peer interactions, being a good sport, and whole-body listening.

Like many adults, children have experienced a great deal more stress and anxiety recently. Hang out with our Occupational Therapist in a safe, engaging, fun environment to interact with other children, identify coping/self-regulation strategies, and improve responses to stress and change in their everyday lives.

While your child is learning social skills or emotional regulation strategies, you too can learn strategies to help your child navigate peer and adult relationships. Be present with other adults who have similar questions and are in similar situations.
