Teens Find Human Remains in Tuscarawas County

(Dover, Ohio) – Latest reports indicate two teenagers were the first to locate human remains in the city.

According to Dover Police reports, a 17-year-old boy and his 13-year-old sister found the remains in a wooded area west of Center Street and W. Eight Street on Thursday, July 12th.  Investigators indicate at this time it does not appear there was any foul play. The remains have been transported to the Stark County Coroner’s Office where an autopsy will be completed to determine the official cause of death.

Police also located the parents of the children to discuss what they had seen. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Dover Police Department, 330-364-5533.
