Virtual Programs being offered locally for Teens

(Dover, Ohio) – Every Tuesday at 4:00 PM, local teens in grades six through twelve are welcome to join the Dover Public Library for online Teen Tuesdays.

These weekly events will take place online through the video chat platform, Zoom. Each session will feature a different activity including games and art challenges. Free supply kits will be available for pick up at the library each week. Registration is required to participate in the Zoom meetings. Interested teens can register at www.doverlibrary.org/register, or call 330-343-6123 for more information. An email address is required for registration. Teen Tuesdays are funded in part by a 21st Century Grant with Dover High School, which supports learning opportunities outside of classroom walls.

November’s Teen Tuesdays include Ultimate Trivia on November 10, Escape the Museum Part 2 on November 17, and Trash to Treasure on November 24.

Virtual Teen Tuesdays will continue through December 8, 2020.

Teens who cannot connect via Zoom are welcome to take free weekly kits in the Teen Room and participate individually. An archived video will not be available for Ultimate Trivia, but other instructional videos will be available approximately one week after the other virtual events.

The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St. in Dover, across the street from Dover High School, and online at www.doverlibrary.org. A list of all upcoming digital programs is available at www.doverlibrary.org/register.
