Get answers to your questions, learn about roles and compensation, and discover opportunities within the industry. Representatives from participating companies from engineering, management, personnel, and human resources will answer all your questions at the event!
If you’re thinking of furthering your education, personnel from Kent State Tuscarawas will be available to help you navigate the academic preparation needed for roles you’re interested in.
What is Engineering Technology?
Engineering Technology is “a profession in which the knowledge of mathematics, physical and social sciences and engineering is applied to planning, design and implementation of products and processes”.
In short, you’ll be practically applying science and engineering to a variety of real world problems. An Engineering Technology degree can land you a job within these industries: manufacturing, architecture, computer systems design, machinery and equipment, transportation, and much more!
Aspiring High School Engineers Will Have Their Work Judged At The Event
Judging of participants’ bridges from the Engineering Technology Department’s high school bridge contest will take place at the event. First and second place winners will move on to compete in the international contest held in Covington Township, PA in May.
