With over 30 degrees to choose from, Kent State University (KSU) at Tuscarawas has a Bachelor of  Science degree in Agribusiness which is one of Tuscarawas’ largest industries. The agriculture businesses in Tuscarawas County alone produces over $95 million each year for the county.   Kent State Tuscarawas’s Agribusiness degree blends business and agriculture with a focus on analytic and problem-solving skills, combined with the technical aspects of agriculture and food systems.  This program was the very first one out of all 8 KSU Campuses to add this degree in 2017.

• It blends aspects of modern agriculture and food systems with a decision-making framework of business as well as the technical sides.
• In-depth s study of plants, animals, & soil sciences in addition to sales, marketing, and management techniques in production.

Agribusiness Requirements

• Upon acceptance into the program, the Tuscarawas campus offers all of the Agribusiness and Kent Core requirements at their campus including some online options.
  • There is a minimum of 120 credit hours to earn a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A roadmap is laid out for future students to view a clear path of courses and content required.
