  • Market volunteers are consistently told by shoppers from both near and far how friendly and wonderful the market is.
  • The TVFM participates in a number of programs that make access to fresh, local produce more affordable for low-income individuals who shop at the market.
  • A number of local food institutions source some of their produce from TVFM vendors through the Tuscarawas Valley Food Hub Initiative, which is a program started and operated by the Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market that helps to strengthen the local food economy.
  • In a normal season, the TVFM offers so much more than just fruits and vegetables with things like cooking demos, live music, community partners, and children’s activities. However, those are on hold for the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
