TuscBDD Starlight School offers preschool for 3- to 5-year-olds. The program is an all-day program, Monday-Thursday during the standard school year. Classes are made up of roughly 8 children with developmental disabilities and 8 typically developing children. The program practices positive & proactive interaction.
In addition to their 5-star program licensed by the Ohio Department of Education’s Office, the team at Starlight School was one of only seven statewide to receive recognition from the Ohio PBIS Network and State Support team in 2017 for the implementation of school-wide positive behavioral interventions and supports. The well-rounded early childhood education curriculum follows the Ohio Learning Content Standards, which govern every licensed preschool in Ohio.
