5 Ways Drug Use Impacts Your Health: Did you know?
RISK OF ADDICTION: Repeated and long-term use of alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, or any other drugs can cause an addiction.
MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES: Chronic drug use can lead to a wide variety of mental health issues, including paranoia, depression, anxiety, aggression, and more.
HEART ATTACK: Most drugs adversely affect the cardiovascular system, causing abnormal heart rates or even heart attack.
BREATHING PROBLEMS: Smoking can lead to bronchitis, emphysema, and lung cancer. Opiates may slow breathing, block airways, or worsen asthma symptoms.
