Meet Meghan Bowen
The Birth of Elite Legends Academy of Dance
Meghan Bowen began dancing at the age of 7, first taking ballet. Eleven through twenty she went on competing regionally and nationally. Winning top overall’s year after year in all genres of dance, Meghan has had many wonderful opportunities to study under guest teachers from around the world. These opportunities came about through Dance Masters of America, Moscow Ballet Workshops and many nationally acclaimed dance competitions, to name a few.
Her journey as a dance teacher began at the young age of 14. For the last 20+ years Meghan has been teaching children of all ages to dance, build confidence, and shine their brightest in all walks of life.
Her competitive choreography has gone on to win numerous TOP National overall awards, title winners, and specialty awards including; Best Choreography, Most Entertaining, and Defying Gravity. Meghan was the coach to the 2018 Bronze Winners for all male hip hop at the Dance Worlds 2018!
Her newest accolades include judging for nationally acclaimed dance competitions, winning Stark County’s Best of the Best for Best Dance Studio 2019, 2021 and runner up for year 2020.Â
A full-time mother of two, dance instructor/choreographer/judge and wife…Meghan finally has a place to call her own, Elite Legends Academy of Dance.
A Passion for Photography
Photography has always been a true passion for Meghan. From the days of the disposable and Polaroid cameras Meghan has always had a camera with her. In 2010 Meghan began her true journey of photography. Branching out on her own learning any and everything she could, she made it a profitable long lasting business through word of mouth business. Family and of course dance photography are her favorites! Her clientele has grown tremendously over the last 10 years! Just over 2 years ago, Meghan teamed up with Nancy and Karl Schmidt of Best Version Media to be the feature photographer for the Jackson and North Canton Living local magazines!
