(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – Tuscarawas County Job & Family Services is announcing that registration is now open for the local Dress a Child program.
The public is encouraged to register at any of the available sites listed below.
Children from kindergarten to 12th grade are eligible to participate in the program. Registration will only be accepted in this manner and no phone applications or alternate dates are available.
Applicants must provide photo identification and proof of income at the time of registration.
I am not sure who to contact but a friend of mine went today to apply and was denied because she home educates.
Please disclose on advertisements that homeschoolers are not included.
Families who are already struggling and humbling themselves to be rejected publicly is not helpful.
Please inform who needs to know to put on advertisements that HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES are indeed EXCLUDED. This will save time and resources and public humiliation.
