(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – Flourish Early Learning Center is announcing a new partnership with Next Level Play Lounge in New Philadelphia.
The collaboration will provide an indoor recess option for children attending Flourish ELC when weather conditions do not allow for outdoor play. The partnership will begin the week of January 19th.
Through this arrangement, Flourish students will walk to Next Level Play Lounge during designated indoor recess times, following the same safety procedures, supervision standards, and transition protocols currently used for outdoor playground access. The goal is to ensure children continue to have consistent opportunities for movement and active play throughout the school year.
“This partnership allows us to be thoughtful about how we support children’s daily routines,” said Michaela Thomas, owner of Flourish Early Learning Center. “Having access to an indoor space designed for active play means our students can stay engaged and active without disrupting the structure of the day.”
Next Level Play Lounge was created as a family-centered space focused on play, connection, and community use, making it a natural partner for the program.
“Next Level Play Lounge was built for real families. A place where kids can play, parents feel supported, and our community can connect,” said Randi Herron owner of Next Level Play Lounge. “Partnering with Flourish gives us a meaningful way to use our space by offering children a safe and fun place to be active when outdoor recess isn’t an option. We’re excited to work together and welcome Flourish into our space.”
