As a relatively undiagnosed issue, knowing the facts about prediabetes can reverse high blood sugar levels and stop the development of type 2 diabetes.

If you have been diagnosed with prediabetes or told that your blood sugar is high, you are at risk for type 2 diabetes. There are steps you can take to improve your health. By managing your prediabetes, you can take control of your health and improve your quality of life.
Managing Diabetes
According to the CDC, 1 in 3 people is prediabetic. Fortunately, you can reverse prediabetes and turn your health around. Experts recommend:
- Moving more- work 30 minutes of exercise into your day, 5 days a week
- Taking small steps- small lifestyle changes will grow into new daily habits
- Losing weight & keeping it off
- Eating healthy foods and drinking healthy drinks
- Staying up to date on vaccines, including the COVID vaccine
- Seeking support and medical advice from experts
Tracking your progress and making your health a top priority is what it takes to reverse prediabetes, lower your blood sugar, and maintain healthy habits. Talk with your doctor or nutritionist to develop a plan that works best for you.
