Camp Invention® is coming to Stark County with an all-new program, Illuminate!

In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame®, Stark County is excited to offer the nationally acclaimed Camp Invention program to children entering kindergarten through sixth grade. This inspiring, weeklong summer experience provides opportunities for open-ended, hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering and more! Taking on a variety of exhilarating activities each day, children have fun collaborating with friends, thinking creatively and inventing their own solutions to real-world challenges.

The all-new 2024 program will spark the imagination of both new and returning campers with an adventure full of inspiration, innovation and unforgettable discoveries!

During this action-packed, confidence-boosting program, young innovators will:

• Develop their own sports ball and customize a light-up game with a unique brand and logo as they explore athletics, design and innovation
• Discover the science of light through illuminating inventions and fluorescent animals, then build a one-of-a-kind Glow Box using circuitry and ultraviolet light
• Embark on an epic global operation to tackle water challenges around the world, learning the role that water plays with the help of a robotic lab-on-wheels
• Star as a contestant on a prototyping game show, molding and shaping ideas into awesome inventions using everyday items and a DIY toolbox

TomTod Ideas

Since 2012, TomTod Ideas has provided excellent summer programming for our community’s middle schoolers. With week-long camps and mini-camps, there’s something for every middle schooler.

All Sports Camp

The mission of the All Sports Camp is to improve the health and lives of our campers. Established in 2004, the camp staff are primilary teachers who assist children in their social, emotional, academic and physical development.  We work to accomplish this in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

Our camp curriculum offers exposure to over twenty different sports.  The activities were developed by varsity sports coaches and physical education teachers.  Academic en

richment includes daily reading.  All activities emphasize team-building and

character development.

Canton Kids

Canton Kids! is a free program offered in parks and playgrounds in Canton’s downtown neighborhoods (Shorb and Gibbs).  We staff each park for 2 hours of play and games every weekday throughout the summer. In 2022, we took kids from each neighborhood to the Akron Rubber Ducks game, Akron Zoo, and had tons of fun all summer long.  We look forward to another great summer in 2023 beginning May 30th!

Beech Creek Summer Camps

Stark State Kids College

Kids’ College offers courses ranging from abstract art to a world tour, with plenty of offerings in arts and crafts, science, sports, food, culture, finance and more in between. Classes are offered for are grades K-2 and 3-6. Your child will register according to their most recent grade as of this spring.

Unity Soccer Camp

Our mission is to provide exciting youth summer camps for boys and girls from all clubs and communities ages 5-14 based on games, competitions, contests, enjoyment, and love of the game. We also aim to provide high school teams with more structured offseason summer training camps to better prepare them for the fall season.

The Blue Way Summer Arts Camp

Marching band kids unite (yes woodwinds too!) You’ll spend the weekend learning the same warm-ups, techniques, and music that the 2024 Bluecoats learn at Spring Training! You’ll rehearse in the arc with the corps, get some behind-the-scenes rehearsal access, and even perform with the Bluecoats at the Opening Night Community Celebration!

Walsh University Basketball Camps

Walsh Basketball Camps are held at Cecchini Center on the Walsh University campus in North Canton, Ohio. Walsh Basketball Camps are led by the Cavalier Basketball coaching staff.

Camp Wanake

Our carefully crafted programs are designed to foster spiritual formation, personal growth, friendships, and community building. From traditional outdoor activities like campfire cooking, hiking, canoeing, fishing, and rock climbing to unique offerings including, international programs, team-building challenges, biking, horses, and art, Wanake provides a diverse range of experiences to cater to every camper’s interests.

En-rich-ment Summer Camps

​EN-RICH-MENT is a 501 c 3 Canton Ohio based fine arts organization founded in 2012 that offers music lessons, instruments,  workshops, training, art, cooking, dance, choir, garden, keyboard, media production, theater and drumline to youth ages 5 to 18.

Camp Buckeye

Camp Buckeye is an interdenominational camp committed to providing a quality camping experience for all ages in a welcoming, Christ-centered atmosphere. Our staff is carefully chosen to provide the very best role models. We provide great programming in an intimate outdoor setting.
