Wholesome Fun for the Whole Family: Discounted days at the Tuscarawas County Fair

There’s only one thing better than visiting the Tuscarawas County fair and that’s saving money while visiting the fair! Here are a few opportunities to get discounted or free admission to the fair. 

Monday, September 16 is Veteran’s day at the fair– FREE admission to veterans with valid I.D. Sponsored by Wendy’s Restaurant and Bob & Trudy Sensel. During a visit to the fair on Monday, you can expect to see..

  •  shows from the Junior Fair. Including market hogs, poultry, lambs and goats.
  •  Rides open @5:00p.m.
  • Rafter M Rodeo @7:00p.m. (Tickets required)

Tuesday, September 17 is family day. $3 admission as well as $16 ride wristbands are being Sponsored by First National Bank of Dennison, WTUZ & Bellstores. What’s going on on family day? 

  • Junior Fair Hog showmanship, ranch horse show & ground roping, market beef, dairy & utility goat show and the dairy goat showmanship. 
  • Rides open @12:00p.m. 
  • Band-o-rama- FREE marching band show, 6:00p.m. at the grandstands.
  • Open class dairy show and kiddie dairy showmanship 

Wednesday, September 18 is Senior day- $1 admission for seniors 65 and over. Sponsored by Dover Eagles & Country Club Rehabilitation Campus

  • Open class dairy show
  • Rides open @12:00p.m.
  • Junior Fair western horse show, beef showmanship, beef bred born & raised, beef breeding show
  • Draft horse and draft mule halter judging 
  • Motocross @7:00p.m. (Tickets Required)

Finally, Recycling Day is Tuesday Sept 17. Trade a gallon trash bag full of aluminum cans for free passes to the fair on Sunday 9/15 and Tuesday 9/17, courtesy of Novelis. For more information visit the fair’s website or RSVP to the Recycling Day Facebook event here.
