Valentine’s Day Inspired Activities

(New Philadelphia Ohio) –Welcome, Newsymom readers to the February STEAM Centers blog post! We are one cold, short month closer to spring! Which means our Pop-Up Museum will be in full swing shortly!

As a refresher for those who are not familiar: STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Music. We are a non-profit Children’s Pop-Up museum located in and servicing the Tuscarawas County area.

If you would like to learn more about us check out our first Newsymom post here:

This month we would like to share some fun Valentine’s Day activities you can do with your little ones at home!

This is a fun and colorful activity to brighten up your Valentine’s Day. This is a fun ART (the A in STEAM) activity that encourages children to play with colors.

This game incorporates MUSIC (the M in STEAM), as well as reading skills. And it allows children to burn some steam themselves and get out some pent up energy while stuck inside on cold winter days!
