President of First National Bank of Dennison, Nichole Zesiger, released 3rd Quarter highlights of achievements & plans rooted in customer service.

Safety
- While Masks and Social Distancing are no longer required inside the branches, safety is still at the forefront of thinking.
- Extra Cleaning is still being practiced.
- Plexiglass Shields are remaining between the teller and customers.
Achievements
- FNBD ended the 3rd quarter with $1,291,716.
- The Board of Directors announced on Friday, October 29th, 2021 that the semi-annual dividend would be $0.60 per share. The dividend is payable Dec. 1, 2021.
- The Real Estate market has soared with low-interest rates which have increased the secondary market fee income.
- SBA PPP loans were extended through 2021, yielding FNBD $650,000 in fee income.
Technology Advances
Currently in place is:
- Document Imaging
- Electronic Signatures
- 24-hour call line giving access to Account Balances, History, and making Transfers within your accounts.
In the works:
- Electronic Tickets in the front lines to avoid lobby and drive-through congestion. Expected to be implemented around Thanksgiving.
- Online Loan Account Opening.

Customer Service Advances
3rd Quarter was a time for realigning the organization by assessing what expertise gaps there were and filling them as well as transitioning misaligned duties of employees to make service more streamlined for customers. Zesiger explained, “Assessing inefficiencies and finding cost savings will continue to be an ongoing initiative for the bank and its employees.”
Zesiger stated, “Though many in the community are building expensive buildings and expanding their markets, we, at The First National Bank of Dennison, are focused on the customer experience. We want our electronic products to be intuitive and easy to use plus provide the top technology available to make your lives easier and more convenient. We have our roots where others have their branches.“
