The Tuscarawas County Anti-Drug Coalition (ADC) is a volunteer organization led by Jodi Salvo.
This informational campaign comes to you in partnership with the Tuscarawas County Anti-Drug Coalition.
The ADC coalition is committed to empowering the youth of Tuscarawas County to live drug-free lives. This volunteer organization is made up of representatives from community agencies, organizations, and businesses, as well as community members and stakeholders. Members of the coalition carry out the coalition’s mission through the utilization of several committees. There are four different committees that are dedicated to substance-use prevention and education, there is also a hope line.
The four ADC Committees are Alcohol, Marijuana, Rx Drugs (Prescription Drugs), and Tobacco. Individuals looking for additional information to address one of the mentioned substances should visit the corresponding committee’s webpage. Each committee page offers a combination of statistics, tips for parents, and warning signs. A common theme from all of the committees is for parents to be involved and informed, this includes open communication with your child: Talk. They hear you.
By focusing its efforts on where youth initiate substance-use, the Tuscarawas County Anti-Drug Coalition is able to effectively impact substance-use amongst the youth in Tuscarawas County. The Hope Line is also available for those struggling with substance-use. If you or someone you care about needs some added support for substance-use call or text the Hope Line at 330.663.6812.
