New Philadelphia, OH (January 4, 2023) – Buckeye Career Center will host a ‘Pathways to In-Demand Careers After Graduation’ webinar watch party on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 6pm at BCC.
The event is intended for area 11th and 12th grade students and their family members who are interested in learning more about post-graduation options. The event will begin with a short presentation by Buckeye Career Center representatives about the various adult education opportunities offered at BCC; including full-time courses, part-time options, apprenticeships, and other job training possibilities. The event will also feature the watching of a ‘Pathways to In-Demand Careers After Graduation’ webinar, produced by the Ohio Technical Centers (OTCs) and At the Core.
The webinar is intended to inform students and parents about how today’s students can fast-track their success using postsecondary education options at OTCs across Ohio, while also fulfilling the demand for well-paying jobs that are going unfilled. “With graduation just around the corner, Buckeye Career Center wants to help equip parents and students with as much information as possible to help them determine how to best prepare to benefit from the current career climate,” commented BCC Adult Education Assistant Director Steve Rippeth. “By attending this program, teens and their families will gain valuable information about these 21st century career options and how to gain the skills needed for these jobs,” he said.
