Coping with Back to School Stress and Anxiety

(Ohio) – The National Institute of Mental Illness is hosting an upcoming Q&A as families prepare to send kids back to school.

The Q&A will be hosted on the NIMH Instagram page on Tuesday, August 11th at 1:00 p.m. ET. During the event, participants will be able to ask Krystal Lewis, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist at NIMA, questions about stress or anxiety in children and adolescents, as well as how to cope.

Learning what causes or triggers your stress and what coping techniques work for you can help reduce your anxiety and improve your transition back to school, according to officials.
