Garden Tour at The Warther Museum

Join us for an evening in the gardens or on Facebook Live on August 9th at 6:30 PM as we explore the Warther Family property. We will spend time in the Swiss Style gardens created by Frieda Warther and delve into years of Dover history, all formed right in their backyard. From the workshop of the World’s Master Carver to the newly founded Dave Warther Arboretum, so much has come of the last lot on Karl Avenue. Conversation will cover plants, flowers, and trees as well as the historical buildings on the lot and uncover infamous Dover history, like the “Swing” and playground the Warthers created for the neighborhood.

This program will be held on Monday, August 9 at 6:30 PM in the gardens at the entrance of the Ernest Warther Museum located at 331 Karl Avenue, Dover Ohio. Call the library at 330-343-6123 to register.  Participants may want to bring a lawn chair.  If you are unable to attend, please join us at  facebook.com/thewarthermuseum.
