TuscBDD and Starlight School to Host Assistive Devices and Technology Fair
New Philadelphia, July 26, 2022: TuscBDD and Starlight School will host a technology event –
Embrace Possibilities: An Assistive Devices and Technology Fair on August 18th from 9:00 a.m.
until 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone in the
community and will take place at the Starlight School (518 Church Avenue SW, New Phila.).
The Starlight School will be packed with over 20 technology vendors as well as people served to
provide demonstrations on how technology can improve quality of life. Vendors will focus on
many areas of technology including communication, language, sensory devices, safety and
independence equipment, assistive technology for the visually impaired and hard of hearing,
funding, support, advocacy, and demonstrations.
Guests can complete a scavenger hunt to be entered to win an iPad, participate in activities,
win giveaways, and pick prizes. TuscBDD encourages adults, children, families, providers,
educators, and professionals to stop by the fair and check out the robots, therapy dog, sensory
lab, playground, and vendors!
