Free book program launches in Ashland County

(Ashland, Ohio) – Books are now available for free for children in Ashland County.

It’s all part of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and the Ohio Governor’s Office in a partnership with Easterseals. After meeting with state leaders, the program was made available to all 88 Ohio counties.

The program allows parents, guardians, and caregivers to register children, ages birth to five-years-old, to receive a free book every month. The books are completely free with the state matching funds with other partners to cover the cost of the books.
