Kid Vendor Event: STEAM Power Indoor Play Center Invites Kid Entrepreneurs to Sell Their Wares

Calling all Kid Entrepreneurs! This June, STEAM Power Indoor Play Center is holding a Kid Vendor Event where kids can sell their goods and services to the public in a safe and supportive environment.

This free event will be held on Sunday, June 11th from 9am-3pm at the Steam Power Indoor Play Center in North Canton. According to LeeAnna and Christine, STEAM Power LLC founders, “This event is designed to be an outlet for young entrepreneurs, ages 3-17, to have an opportunity to bring their business interests to open a market!”

About STEAM Power

The mission of STEAM Power Indoor Play Center is “for children to reach for the stars in a way that inspires their curiosity, builds self-esteem, creates an imagination of excitement, and explores all the great wonders of the world. STEAM Power offers Explore Time (open play), field trips, birthday parties (private and non-private), special events, classes of all sorts (crafts, steam, all in one etc.), retail and coming soon a cafe! The are focused on providing children with engaging and meaningful experiences so, “We decided what better way than through a kids vendor event.”

Event Details

Currently, kid vendors have committed to sell items such as artwork, jewelry, keychains, and crocheted items. Treats including cotton candy, lemonade, hot dogs, and pasta salad will also be available for purchase.

Kids can sign up for the event through the Steam Power website or Facebook Events page.

Looking for Local Business Sponsors

In addition, they are looking for local businesses to sponsor the event. Businesses can become sponsors by paying a small fee which covers the costs of swag bags that will hold business cards, brochures, or samples and are given out at the event. $30 covers placement in 100 swag bags. Interested businesses can contact LeeAnna and Christine for more information and register on the event website.

Kid Vendors and Public Encouraged to Attend

There is no admission for the public to come in and shop around at this event and anyone interested is encouraged to do so.  This is the first of what Steam Power founders hope to become an annual vendor event.
