Library to Hold Children’s Poetry Reception

A library in Tuscarawas County, Ohio is recognizing poetry written by kids in the community.

Throughout April, which was National Poetry Month, the Dover Public Library collected poetry submissions written by children throughout the community. The poems will be featured in the second volume of Children’s Poetry, which will be available for purchase at the upcoming reception on Friday, May 11th.

All contributors will receive a free copy of the book and will have the chance to read their poem in front of friends and family.

Light refreshments will also be served at the event. It’s all happening on Friday, May 11th at 6:30 p.m. at the library in Dover. More information can be found by calling the library at 330-364-6123. Online registration is also available at http://www.doverlibrary.org/event-calendar/
