(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – The New Philadelphia School District is moving forward with a partnership between the district and the Quaker Digital Academy after receiving a $125,00 grant.
The grant comes from Ohio Collaborative and will allow the partnership between the two entities to continue and further develop. Officials indicated the district, like many others, has felt the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and that the funds will help provide even more options to students.
It is expected that the partnership will create an Educator Mentor Partnership and Professional Learning Community that consists of both traditional physical instruction and virtual learning. No further information has been released at this time regarding specific plans for the partnership.
