Another inspiring momma added to the Newsymom team!

Hello!  I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to become an author for Newsymom.

My name is Laurie Katusin, and I have three kids; 13-year-old Tristan, and 7-year-olds, Chloe and Keira.  Life is always busy and challenging, and I find I learn more and more every day.

For many years I was a high school teacher and librarian, and I loved every minute of it.  Teenagers have a special place in my heart. Recently, life has changed my journey, and I find myself on a new path.  I’m here to share and grow, and hopefully, connect with some of you. Motherhood has its challenges, and I certainly know I have learned so much from the openness and kindness of other moms.

I love reading (did the librarian position give me away?), Starbucks, chocolate, watching Netflix with my kids, a nice glass of red, and spending time with my dogs.
