Museum passes available for Library Checkout!

Library cardholders at the Tuscarawas County Public Library System now have an expanded list of museum passes available to check out and enjoy a fun experience.

“We are excited to add a family four pass to the Pro Football Hall of Fame to our museum passes,” said Adult and Teen Services Manager Robyn Guedel.

The Museum Pass service offers customers, with a valid library card, free admission into area attractions. In addition to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, passes are also available to check out to the Canton Art Museum, the Akron Art Museum, the William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, and the Arkon Zoo. Each pass with the zoo and art museums admits two adults and two children under the age of 18 and is valid for 7 days from the time of check out. The McKinley Museum pass admits a family of four and is valid for 7 days from the time of check out.

Passes are only available during normal library hours. To check out a pass, library cardholders may visit the Main Library or request a pass online at www.tusclibrary.org/content/museumpasses.

The Zoo, Art Museums, and McKinley Museum passes are reused and must be returned to the Library, but the Hall of Fame passes are single-use and collected by the museum’s box office.

According to Guedel, the Library has purchased 50 passes to the Hall of Fame and will buy more if needed. Each attraction may apply their own restrictions, blackout dates, or require additional admission fees for special events and exhibitions.
