7p- Osprey Wagon Tours- Enjoy a FREE Naturalist-led wagon tour to visit two of our nesting Osprey nests here at the park. Learn about these unique birds of prey and other wildlife and history of Pleasant Hill Lake Park. Limited seating. Sign up to reserve your free spot on the wagon at Welcome Center.

1p-2p- Milkweeds & Monarchs- Learn about and explore the unique and colorful Monarch Butterflies. Monarchs can appear anywhere often in your own backyard. Take a tour of our native pollinator’s gardens around the park. Stay afterwards and plant your own Milkweed plant to take. Welcome Ctr.
2p-3pm- Milkweed Plantings– Pick up your seeds, pot to plant your very own milkweed plant from seed. We provide all the materials needed to start your own milkweed plant to help the Monarch Butteries diverse habitat. Welcome Ctr.
7p-10pm- LIVE Rock Music: – Join us for live musical entertainment on stage near the welcome center. Summer Concerts Series are open to the public and free with gate admission. LIVE Band performing Rock/Pop Music. Sit back and relax and listen to the music.

1:00-3:00pm- Star Night in the planetarium. Meet the stars and plants of the Milky Way Galaxy in this inflatable indoor planetarium dome. Discover the legend and lore around the skies and planets that make up our universe. At Welcome center

1pm Red White and Blue Wreath Craft – Make a beautiful patriotic wreath for your camper or house! All materials and instruction are provided for ages 16 and up. $2 per person, cash only. Space is limited and reservation required by calling 419-368-6885 by May 27.
2:30pm Kidz Cornhole Contest – Meet at Eagle Point Corn hole courts at 2:15 to register your team! For ages 7-14. Prizes for the top three teams.

Meet at Eagle Point Swimming Pool Area for parade and contest judging. Drawing for top prizes!

4-9pm Traveling Program Wagon (Park Side & Marina Point) – Look our traveling program staff and wagon full fun as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites to show some furs and skulls of animals common around our parks! They will also have information about the upcoming events for the weekend and schedules to hand out!

1-2pm Patriotic Windsock Craft for Kids (Park Side) – Make a windsock at the Log Cabin to use in the bike/golf cart parade or hang at their campsites! While supplies last.

10am Flag Ceremony – Join Cadiz American Legion to honor military personnel who have died while fighting in a war. Ceremony will take place in Camp Area 4.
1:15pm Bike Decorating – Stop by the pavilion near the sports courts across from the Activity Center to decorate your golf cart or bike before the parade or you can bring your own from home!
2pm Bike Parade – Feature your decorated bike in the parade. Line up at 1:45pm at the basketball courts and take a trip around the campground. Prizes for top bikes in each age group!
4-5pm Patriotic Craft for Adults – Make a decoration for patriotic holidays at the Nature Center. This craft involves paint! While supplies last.
8-11pm DJ Ronnie B – Meet at the sports courts for an evening of music and fun!
9pm Tappan Golf Cart Club Parade – Decorate your golf cart and head to the beach for line up at 8:30pm. Parade will start at 9pm.

The MWCD is the largest conservancy district in the state and led the effort to construct 14 dams and reservoirs. The MWCD has jurisdiction for its operations in all or portions of an 18-county area.
