Friday, May 27

6p-8p- Naturalist On-Duty: Nature Room OPEN. Come see & help feed the LIVE animals. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, bird observation window & view a short orientation during your visit. Check out the NEW Bigfoot Display area and relax on the deck.

7p- Osprey Wagon Tours- Enjoy a FREE Naturalist-led wagon tour to visit two of our nesting Osprey nests here at the park. Learn about these unique birds of prey and other wildlife and history of Pleasant Hill Lake Park. Limited seating. Sign up to reserve your free spot on the wagon at Welcome Center.

10a-12p- Family Crafts: Bring the whole family and enjoy making your own nature themed craft. Complete materials and directions to make and take home. Limited supplies so sign up for a time slot at the Welcome Center desk.

1p-2p- Milkweeds & Monarchs- Learn about and explore the unique and colorful Monarch Butterflies. Monarchs can appear anywhere often in your own backyard. Take a tour of our native pollinator’s gardens around the park. Stay afterwards and plant your own Milkweed plant to take. Welcome Ctr.

2p-3pm- Milkweed Plantings– Pick up your seeds, pot to plant your very own milkweed plant from seed. We provide all the materials needed to start your own milkweed plant to help the Monarch Butteries diverse habitat. Welcome Ctr.

7p-10pm- LIVE Rock Music:  – Join us for live musical entertainment on stage near the welcome center. Summer Concerts Series are open to the public and free with gate admission. LIVE Band performing Rock/Pop Music. Sit back and relax and listen to the music.

1:00-3:00pm- Star Night in the planetarium. Meet the stars and plants of the Milky Way Galaxy in this inflatable indoor planetarium dome. Discover the legend and lore around the skies and planets that make up our universe. At Welcome center

7:30pm    Memorial Weekend BINGO – Visit the Messerly Recreation Center for a night of family bingo, treats and sweet prizes!  Fun for all ages.

8:45pm    Movie Night – Watch “Onward” at Messerly Recreation Center and enjoy hot dogs! This movie is rated PG.

Saturday, May 28

10am       Flag Raising Ceremony – Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center for a ceremony honoring the military service members who have died in war. Then enjoy donuts, fruit, juice, and coffee.  Donations, Children must be accompanied by adults.

11:30am Nature Time for Kidz – Stop by the Messerly Recreation Center to explore the fantastic world of nocturnal animals and make a craft! 

1pm         Red White and Blue Wreath Craft – Make a beautiful patriotic wreath for your camper or house! All materials and instruction are provided for ages 16 and up. $2 per person, cash only.  Space is limited and reservation required by calling 419-368-6885 by May 27.

2:30pm    Kidz Cornhole Contest – Meet at Eagle Point Corn hole courts at 2:15 to register your team! For ages 7-14. Prizes for the top three teams.

4pm         Golf Cart Parade & Decorating Contest – Calling all golf cart owners! Here is your chance to win a great Memorial day gift! Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center at Main Office or

4:30pm    Eagle Point shelter Drawing for prizes

5-10pm    Catfish Tournament – Find the biggest fish and or catch 3 fishes for top weight. Registration at SR 430 public launch ramp starting at 4:30pm.

7pm         LIVE Music by Larry and Shane – Bring your camp chair to the Eagle Point shelter to enjoy live music. Will be held at the Messerly Recreation Center in case of rain.

Sunday, May 29

10:15am Non-Denominational Church Service at the Messerly Recreation Center.

12pm       Crafts for Kidz – Meet at the Eagle Point Shelter and choose from a variety of craft kits!

2pm         Kidz Bike Parade and Decoration Contest – Pick up a bag of decorations at Messerly Recreation Center between 10am-12pm on Saturday or bring decorations from home and use them on your bike, wagon, or scooter.  Meet at Eagle Point Swimming Pool Area for parade and contest judging. Drawing for top prizes!

3pm       What would you do for a Klondike Bar! win a Klondike Bar. Meet at Eagle Point Shelter. Open to all children and adults.

4pm         Adult Cornhole Contest – Meet at the cornhole areas on Eagle Point and Main camp (near the playground). Registration begins at 3:45pm. Prizes for top two teams!

7-9pm      DJ on the Lake – Hang out at the beach or on your boat and enjoy the DJ music with Mr. Ed. Song requests can be made!

Friday, May 27

9-10:30am  Coffee & Donuts (Park Side) – Enjoy a morning of free coffee and donuts at Park Side Shelter #2. First come, first served.

4-9pm          Traveling Program Wagon (Park Side & Marina Point) – Look our traveling program staff and wagon full fun as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites to show some furs and skulls of animals common around our parks!  They will also have information about the upcoming events for the weekend and schedules to hand out!

Saturday, May 28

1-2pm        Patriotic Windsock Craft for Kids (Park Side) – Make a windsock at the Log Cabin to use in the bike/golf cart parade or hang at their campsites! While supplies last.

3-5pm        T-shirt Tie Dye (Marina Point) – Tie dye a Seneca Lake Park T-shirt! T-shirts will be on sale for $5 for youth sizes and $10 for adult sizes or bring your own. Cash only, sizes are first come-first served. Meet near the Marina Point Shelter #2.

6-7pm        Patriotic Jar Craft for Adults (Marina Point) – Join us at the shelter by the basketball court to paint your own set of patriotic jars. Available while supplies last

9-11pm      Movie at the Lake (Park Side) – Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the beach parking area to watch a family-friendly movie on the BIG screen. The movie is rated PG. You may also watch from your golf cart or car. Please park vehicles towards the back.

12-1pm      Balloon Tennis (Marina Point) – Join us at the basketball courts for a quick craft making your own “tennis racket” and then join in a game of balloon tennis!

1:30-4pm   T-shirt Tie Dye (Park Side) – Tie dye a special edition Seneca Lake Park T-shirt! T-shirts will be on sale for $5 for youth sizes and $10 for adult sizes or bring your own. Cash only, sizes are first come-first served. Meet near Park Side Shelter #3.

5-7pm        Yard Game Mania! (Park Side) – Join us at the beach for yard game mania!  We will have multiple games like cornhole, spike ball, KanJam and others set up at the beach for you to play (or learn to play) at your convenience! 

7-10pm      LIVE Music: Tuscarawas River Band (Park Side) – Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the beach and enjoy this cover band.

Monday, May 30

10am         Parade Decorating (Park Side & Marina Point) – Meet on the beach concession stand at Park Side and basketball court at Marina Point to decorate your bike and cart for a Memorial Day parade.

10:30am       Bike & Golf Cart Parade (Park Side & Marina Point) – Feature your decorated bike or golf cart in the parade. Line up in the beach parking area at Park Side and basketball court area at Marina Point, please be considerate to others using the parking lot.

Friday, May 27

4-7pm           Traveling Craft for Kids – Watch for our program staff traveling through the camp areas passing out craft kits!

9-11pm          Movie at the Lake – Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the beach to watch a family-friendly movie on the BIG screen! The movie is rated PG-13 and will start at dusk. You can also watch from your golf cart or car. Please park vehicles towards the back.

Saturday, May 28

10am            Flag Ceremony – Join Cadiz American Legion to honor military personnel who have died while fighting in a war. Ceremony will take place in Camp Area 4.

1:15pm          Bike Decorating – Stop by the pavilion near the sports courts across from the Activity Center to decorate your golf cart or bike before the parade or you can bring your own from home!

2pm              Bike Parade – Feature your decorated bike in the parade. Line up at 1:45pm at the basketball courts and take a trip around the campground. Prizes for top bikes in each age group!

4-5pm           Patriotic Craft for Adults – Make a decoration for patriotic holidays at the Nature Center. This craft involves paint! While supplies last.

8-11pm            DJ Ronnie B – Meet at the sports courts for an evening of music and fun!

9pm              Tappan Golf Cart Club Parade – Decorate your golf cart and head to the beach for line up at 8:30pm. Parade will start at 9pm.

Sunday, May 29

10am-12pm    Nature Center Open – Explore the nature center and make a craft!

1-3pm              Tie Dye T-shirts – Meet in the grass across from the Activity Center to make a tie dye masterpiece. Limited sizes will be available for purchase, first come – first served. $5 per t-shirt. Cash only.

4-5pm              Kids BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a full-size candy bar.

5-6pm           Adult BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a $2 gift.

8-11pm            LIVE Music: Liberty Bridge Band – Bring your chair or golf cart to the sports courts to listen to live country music.

5-9pm           Traveling Program – Look for our traveling program staff on a golf cart stopping at campsites with fun nature games and information. You may even win a prize!!

12-6pm       WhoaZone Opens!

12-2pm       Spikeball, Cornhole, and Can Jam – Learn a new game or challenge someone to a showdown! Meet at the sport court area near the Activity Center.

3-6pm         T-shirt Tie Dye – Make a colorful and unique creation in the grass near Activity Center! T-shirts will be available for purchase, cash only. Youth sizes are $5 each, adult sizes are $10 each. Sizes are first come, first served. Meet at the picnic shelter behind the Activity Center. *New 2022 t-shirt design* 

7-10pm       LIVE Music: Liberty Bridge Band – Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the grassy area beside the Activity Center to enjoy an eclectic mix of folksy originals to classic rock covers, and a few surprises in between!

Sunday, May 29

2-3pm         Dreamcatcher Craft for Kids – Make a dreamcatcher! Meet at the Nature Center.

4-5pm         Patriotic Craft for Adults – Paint a patriotic decoration to display at your campsite or take it home! Meet at the shelter behind the Activity Center. For ages 16 and up.

5:30-6pm    Bike and Golf Cart Decorating – Stop by the picnic shelter behind the Activity Center to decorate your golf cart or bike in a patriotic Memorial Day tribute before the parade.

6-7pm         Bike & Golf Cart Parade – Feature your bike or golf cart that has been decorated for the holiday in the parade. Line up in the Activity Center parking lot and take a trip around the campground. The parade will go through camp areas A-H.

9-11pm      Movie at the Lake – Watch a family-friendly movie on the BIG screen! Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the grassy area beside the Activity Center. You may also watch from your golf cart or car from the parking lot.

Parents of those younger then 7 are able to enjoy the beach and swimming at their level as well.

Responsible stewards dedicated to providing the benefits of flood reduction, conservation and recreation in the Muskingum River Watershed. The MWCD is the largest conservancy district in the state and led the effort to construct 14 dams and reservoirs. The MWCD has jurisdiction for its operations in all or portions of an 18-county area.
