Ohio’s Free Fishing is this Father’s Day Weekend on June 19th and 20th there will be no license required to fish in Ohio.

Ohio’s Free Fishing Days
Anyone living in Ohio is allowed to share the experience of fishing in any public fishing pond or lake without purchasing a license. All size and bags limits apply during these free fishing days.

Ohio Fishing License Details
If you fall in love with fishing, don’t forget to purchase your own license.
- Children under 16 or adults born on or before December 31, 1937 do not need a fishing license.
- Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
- Licenses can be purchased for the day, 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, 10 year, or a lifetime license.
- 10-25% discounts at 8 State Park Lodges can be redeemed if you present your fishing license!
